I am interested in knowing if the water absorption (WA) calculated using saturated samples that have been oven-dried after three hours can be related to the WA calculated using samples that have been oven-dried after 24 hours?
I am getting WA values (for the 3-hour oven-dried samples) that are approximately 60-65% of the WA values for the 24-hour oven-dried samples. My enquiry is in relation to crushed building demolition rubble, but WA results from primary or other non-primary materials could be useful.

Thanking you in advance,
